That is no problem at all. Every one of us started our journey somewhere and every path unto the lord is signifigant. Your experience will never be identical to anothers, do not expect it to be. Do not let another discredit or degrade your relationship with him. He works in mysterious ways and is not limited to boundaries set by humans. 

Try to surround yourself with like minded people who fear God and value your perspective. This will increase your faith and nurture your walk with God. Your environment has a dramatic impact on how you are affected. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
